Defensive line Brice Ingram(101 tackles 20tfls) and Joe Gulla(95 tackles 19tfls) are solid defenders. The secondary is led by Tanner Ingle(88 tackles 5tfls).

The Delray Beach Atlantic Eagles are making their fifth appearance in a FHSAA State Championship Game and this will be their first appearance since 1978. The Eagles were Class 3A state runner ups in 1973, 1975, 1976, and 1978.

Atlantic enters the Class 8A final with a 12-1-1. They have outscored their four playoff opponents 108-64. Junior Javone Jackson also provides an additional target for Williams. Senior running back Shelley Singletary provides the spark in the running game.
