Wekiva junior quarterback Larry Preston tossed touchdown passes of 62 and 47 yards to Terrence Moore and another 23 yard touchdown to Tyler Davis to lead Wekiva to a 28-7 victory over cross-town rival Apopka in a Class 8A-1 Regional Semifinal Game. Preston also scored on a 25 yard run.

With this win, Wekiva's defense will face a stiff test next week when the Jacksonville Mandarin Mustangs, a 41-8 winner over Winter Park this evening, come to visit. Mandarin has a high octane offense led by junior quarterback Carson Beck, a 6-4 225 pound Alabama commit.
