The Deane Bozeman School serves students in grades PreK-12. School opened in August, 2000 (PreK-8) with 750 students. The school currently serves over 1300 students.
The School is named for veteran school board member, Deane Bozeman, who gave twenty-eight years of service to the Bay County School Board. Bozeman holds the distinction of being the second woman in history to be elected to the Bay County School Board. She spent many hours volunteering at the new school. Until her death in 2012, Mrs. Bozeman still visited the school and our students enjoyed meeting their school's namesake. In 2004, after input from faculty, students and parents, the school name was changed to Deane Bozeman School to better reflect our Pre-kindergarten-12th grade configuration.
