RODNEY WELLS
Coach Rodney Wells is entering his 4th season as Head Coach of the Dr. Phillips Panthers, after being defensive coordinator under former Panther Head Coach Dale Salapa.Rodney Wells was a former star linebacker at DP, leading the Panthers to their first (1996) of many district appearances since. He went on have a productive career at Syracuse, only to return back to his alma mater, giving back as a coach.
He fields a strong team each year, directing his players by a no-tolerance policy. Under Wells' guidance, the Panthers have gone to the playoffs every year.
