As expected, Heis-Mendoza was selected with the 1st Overall Pick by the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2026 NFL Draft. Miami Christopher Columbus alum and Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza led his Indiana Hoosiers football team to the Hoosiers' 1st National Championship in their school's long football program history.
