Younger brother Alberto, who is also currently a freshman QB at Indiana, won two state championships under Head Coach Dave Dunn.Miami Columbus Ties
Fernando and Alberto played at Miami Columbus High School, the same high school that their dad played at during his high school gridiron prep days alongside Miami Hurricanes Head Coach Mario Cristobal, Mario before headed to the University of Miami to pave paths and claim national championships as a player.
