The Ponte Vedra Sharks defeated the Green Cove Springs Clay County Blue Devils in a shootout 52-42 in the Class 5A state semifinals. The Sharks are a perfect 13-0 this season and they're look to add one more win which would give them a Class 5A state championship!
The undefeated, 13-0 Patriots from Plantation American Heritage earned the spot as Ponte Vedra's opponent in the Class 5A final by defeating the previously unbeaten Tampa Jesuit Tigers 21-14 in the other Class 5A semifinal matchup.
