Gaines and Holmes Lead Cocoa to Win Over Mainland

Willie Gaines had 124 yards receiving on 10 catches, added another 68 yards rushing on 6 carries, and scored two touchdowns to lead Cocoa to a 44-27 victory over Mainland. Caziah Holmes chipped in 187 rushing yards including a 13 yard touchdown run with 1:49 left in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Mainland's Taron Keith scored on a three yard rushing touchdown to make the score 34-27 with 10:38 remaining, but that's as close as they would get as Cocoa scored the last ten points of the game.
