At Florida State: Met the requirements of NCAA Bylaws for an extension of his five-year clock and was granted an additional year of eligibility...returning starter who will battle Bryant McFadden for starting honors at left cornerback...held out of contact drills in the spring following shoulder surgery...played in 13 games in 2002, including 11 starts, and has now started 23 career games...had an excellent junior season in 2002 in which he ranked seventh on the team and first among all defensive backs with 53 total tackles...led the team in pass break-ups in 2002 with 14 and now has 24 for his career...tied for the team lead with three interceptions while recording a team-high 91 interception return yards...started 11 games in 2001 including the Gator Bowl victory over Virginia Tech...seven starts came at left corner and four starts came at right corner...gained extensive playing time as a back-up in the 2000 National Championship game against Oklahoma when he was thrust into the lineup after Consensus All-American and four-year starter Tay Cody was injured in the first quarter...tore the ACL in his right knee in preseason practice prior to the 1999 season.

Junior Year (2002): Played in 13 games, including 11 starts at the left cornerback position...had a solid season in which he led all defensive backs with 53 total tackles (seventh on the team)...was first among the defensive backs and fifth overall with 35 unassisted tackles...also led the team in pass break-ups with 14...tied for the team lead with three interceptions and recorded a team-high 91 interception return yards... recorded a career-high eight tackles in the victory over Florida in the regular-season finale...led the secondary in tackles for loss, quarterback hurries and forced fumbles...ranked second in the ACC in passes defended and was first in that category in conference games...was second in the ACC in interceptions in league games and ranked sixth overall in the ACC...earned ACC Defensive Back of the Week honors after recording four tackles, three pass break-ups, two interceptions and a touchdown in the win at Georgia Tech ...his interception return for a touchdown vs. the Yellow Jackets was the first TD of his career ...had another big game when he recorded five tackles, one interception, two quarterback hurries and a pass break-up in the Clemson win...recorded half of his team-leading 14 pass break-ups in a three-game span vs. Georgia Tech, North Carolina and NC State.

Sophomore Year (2001): Started 11 of the Seminoles' 12 games including the Seminoles' Gator Bowl victory over Virginia Tech...seven starts came at left corner and four starts came at right corner...made the switch during the bye-week prior to Florida State's game against Miami ...only non-start came against Clemson during which he made six tackles coming off the bench ... injured both of his thumbs in preseason practice and played the early part of the season with casts on both of his hands... credited with 40 tackles, including 28 unassisted, which ranked seventh among all Seminole defensive players...had season-high seven tackles against Florida...recorded first career interception in the Florida game... ranked second on the team with seven pass break-ups...had two pass break-ups came in the victory over UAB...also had a pass break-up in the Gator Bowl.
Freshman Year (2000): Played in 12 of the Seminoles' 13 games including the National Championship game in the Orange Bowl against Oklahoma...earned playing time as a back-up at the right cornerbackposition and on special teams...missed playing in only the season opener against Brigham Young with a hamstring strain...credited with 23 total tackles (19 unassisted and four assisted) to rank sixth among Florida State's defensive backs...had a season-high five tackles against Florida as the Seminoles defeated the Gators in the final game of the regular season...recorded three total tackles in each of four consecutive games against North Carolina, Louisville, Maryland and Miami...has a pass deflection against Georgia Tech, Louisville and NC State...first career blocked punt came in the NC State win.
