WHO GETS INTO THE PLAYOFFS IN CLASS 5A?
(a) Playoff field will be made up of 32 teams in each class.
(b) 8 Qualifiers in each region. 4 District champions and 4 at large qualifiers. (see RPI Ranking)
(c) District Champions will earn a 1-4 seed based on RPI Ranking and at large qualifiers will receive a 5-8 seed based on RPI Ranking.
(d) Higher seed will always host in regional tournament.

Starting since the 2019 season, The Florida High School Athletic Association has used Rating Percentage Index (RPI) to designate playoff placements for it's member schools. Each Wednesday, the FHSAA will release the RPI until playoffs.The RPI rankings below list the ranked team, current record, current Winning Percentage (WP), Opponents Winning Percentage (OWP), and their Opponent's Winning Percentage (OOWP)
